From Bugtracks to Leafminers Talk with Aton Forest Fellow Charley Eiseman

Come meet and hear about the work of Aton Forest Research Fellow and naturalist Charley Eiseman, lead author of Tracks & Sign of Insects and Other Invertebrates, author of Leafminers of North America and BugTracks blogger, for a talk at Aton Forest.
Leafminers are larvae of certain moths, flies, beetles, and sawflies that feed between the epidermal layers of leaves. These herbivorous insects leave diverse, often intriguing signs on their host plants.
We will gather at our 270 North Colebrook Road headquarters after the Bioblitz. Charley will give a short presentation on his work on insects and aspects of the subtle and secret lives of leafminers.
Total Time: 1 hour 15 minutes. Bring magnifying glasses, water and bug spray.
