Join us for a special evening at Sharon Audubon as we host Louise Washer, President of the Norwalk River Watershed Association and Joan Seguin of the Connecticut Coalition for Pesticide Reform, as they discuss the science behind a class of insecticides know as neonicotinoids – what they are and how they affect our pollinators, including their effects on birds. They will be joined by Audubon Connecticut Director of Policy, Robert LaFrance, who will discuss the current state of legislation and actions individuals can take to reduce the presence of these chemicals in our backyards and beyond.
